The licensing or reporting under Section 49 was not successful. What now?

If you receive notification that the licensing or the reporting according to Section 49 of the German Copyright Act (§ 49 UrhG) was not successful, please download your faulty CSV file and check the following points:

• Check whether the arrangement of the table’s columns and header correspond to those of the sample file and have not been overwritten/deleted (see Automated rights purchase and Reporting acc. to Sec. 49).
• Check the spelling of the media or whether the spelling of a media has possibly changed.
• Check special characters: Is your possible use of the § sign correct? Are umlauts displayed correctly?
• Check if you have possibly mixed media for licensing and media for reporting according to Section 49 in a single Excel file (both must be uploaded separately in their respective tabs!).
